Krungsri Uni Startup 2016 is the national competition hosted by Bank of Ayudhya (Krungsri) which allows fresh undergraduate students to initiate and showcase their product under fast growing Financial Technology (FinTech) arena. Each team has to come up with unique and feasible concept of FinTech product along with multidimensional analysis, customer survey and practical business plan. Twenty shining stars will be selected from the total participants nationwide in which 8 finalists will then have an opportunity to proceed into the Bootcamp to develop and perfect their products.

Our team, Alpha, is composed of Napat Poonsawad (BBA#22), Thipaporn Chutiniyomkarn (BBA#22), Pattaranida Tangchitcharoen (BBA#22), Peeranut Meesommon (BBA#22). We have mingled a traditional old-fashioned industry, Pawn Industry, with an innovative technology to form a very first marketplace for pawnshop and borrower, JumNum Application. Throughout a 1-month Bootcamp session, we were coached closely by professional mentors from the real FinTech industry which exposed us to the whole new level of doing startup business: from the origination and validation of product?s concept to the process of producing a mockup application and market testing. Furthermore, our vision was broadened through the sharing of experience and knowledge among other inspiring finalist teams from diverse academic background: Engineer, Economics, ICT, Actuarial Science, etc.
