International Case Competition @Maastricht

This year from 19 April to 25 April 2015, the international case competition ICC@M was held by Maastricht University School of Business and Economics in Maastricht, Netherlands. The representatives from Thammasat University are Nichamon Asvaraksha (BBA20), Chommakorn Phung-Phoung (BBA 20), Poomrata Wangpreedalertkul (BBA 22) and I, Suwanan Prasertsintana (BBA22). The competition was organized entirely by students with volunteers from other European countries to help facilitate roles such as team hosts and event facilitators.

As it was the first competition for three members of the team, we were very nervous and delighted at the same time.  This case competition was great in both aspects of social events and the competition itself. Before the case cracking session began, we were given a full day to interact with other team members during the scavenger hunt activity, which required us to walk around the town of Maastricht. Not only did we get to exchange opinions with friends from different countries, it also made us realized how enchanting the small city could be.
