McGill Management International Case Competition 2014

McGill Management International Case Competition is a world-class undergraduate case competition. It?s the largest student-run event at the Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University. What makes MMICC more special than any other competitions is the "Team International" which combines 4 students from 4 different universities, 3 of which are the ones that won the top three spots from previous year competition. This year, I, Alynpim Kiriyapong (BBA#20), was given this amazing opportunity from Ajarn Supawat to participate as a member of team international (composed of Thammasat University, McGill University, University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and the University of Belgrade) On the 15th March 2014, I was heading out to Montréal Canada, the land of -15 Celsius, along with Yada (BBA#19), Wasin (BBA#20), Kasama (BBA#19), and Nopphadet (BBA#19) participated as Thammasat team and our awesome advisor, Ajarn Orapan Yolrabil

The first impression I?ve for MMICC was that my team ambassador, Emilien, and the Thammasat team?s ambassador, Laura, were there ready to pick us up. They took us to the hotel, consoled us through the check-in process and took us out to the Mexican restaurant for the late night meal. It was the pleasure first night in the place half a world away from home.

After a night in Montréal, the official case period has begun on the 16th through the 23rd March 2014. Someone once told me that MMICC is the world?s friendliest case competition, but now I will be the one telling everybody that MMICC is the world?s greatest, warmest, funniest and friendliest case competition. The executive committee organized a lot of activities with heart for participants. They always consoled and made sure the participants were satisfied and had fun in every event (e.g. karaoke, and snow tubing, do not ever miss that).
