Thammasat University Announcement --University\'s classes and offices are temporarily closed on Monday, December 2, 2013

Dear BBA students,

IMPORTANT: The TU rector has announced that TU will be closed on Monday, December 2, 2013 due to the political rally in Bangkok area and other provinces.

The BBA International Program would like to inform you regarding our contingency plan during the current political situation. During the past week, we were in our last week of class and TU rector had decided to close TU Thaprachan campus on November 25-26, 2013 to ensure the safety of faculty members, staff, and students.

As a result, classes scheduled during that period are rescheduled to the weekends or the week after the last week of class but before the exam period. Unfortunately, classes on Sunday, December 1, 2013 and also on Monday, December 2, 2013 cannot be held due to safety reasons since there are violent incidences in Bangkok and other areas. The rescheduling must be arranged again if possible. However, given the time period constraints, the rescheduling may not be feasible. Thus, some professors may not able to deliver the last session(s) of their courses.

I decided to propose the following solutions: - If the rescheduling is possible, we will arrange it before December 5, 2013. - If the rescheduling is not feasible, we would like to ask ajarns to test you only knowledge relevant to the materials that have been delivered and grade you based on your performance related to those materials. For the undelivered materials, we will arrange short-lecture series after the exam period (or may be next semester). - If ajarns required the students to present the term project during the last week of class, we would like ask ajarns to reschedule the presentation to some other dates.

The BBA Program will keep you posted. At the moment, we try to contact ajarns regarding the rescheduling plan, term project presentation, and topics that will be covered in the exam. Once we get information, we will post it for you. We appreciate your understanding of the situation. The safety of faculty members, staff, and students is our highest priority.

Should you need more information, please contact BBA Office via emails or FB group.

Best,

BBA International Program
