In strengthening the relationships between business schools across frontiers, it is vital for the exchange program executives from different countries to connect and re-connect alliances with one another. This year Asst. Prof. Dr. Somboon Kulvisaechana, BBA Committee Member and Director of International Affairs of Thammasat Business School, attended the annual conference of the Partnership in International Management (PIM) is held in Beijing, China during Nov. 6-8, 2013. PIM is an exclusive organization comprising of 60 top-notch business schools around the world, such as New York University, University of Chicago, London School of Economics, Copenhagen Business School, Tsinghua University and University of Melbourne. Thammasat Business School has been the only Thai university selected to join this prestigious community since 2000. Every year around one-thirds of the BBA junior-year students go on exchange at the PIM partner universities.
The year 2013 marks the 40th anniversary of the PIM conference under the theme of Economic Development, Business Education and Globalization: 40 Years of PIM ? Looking into the Future. Over 100 participants got down to a serious business of negotiating and discussing ways in which exchange activities can be enriched and enhanced over years to come. We are proud to say that a new initiative for the BBA students will take place in Summer 2014 under the Joint International Summer Course with Vienna University of Economics and Business, ranked #1 in Austria.
