On October 26th 2013, team ?TU Researcher? from BBA Thammasat represented the university and won the first place in a competition at Young Marketing Research Training #10 (YMRT). The team consisted of four members: Mr. Kunpot Suriwong, Miss Prew Sud-On, Miss Proedphan Klubkan and Mr. Shinnawat Asawachaisopon (BBA#19).
In this training camp, we were required to pitch a marketing research proposal for True Corporation to find out about smart phone consumption behavior, target market?s lifestyle and how to develop an application to suit them. In that week, we, along with eight teams from different universities, had met with many executives from many marketing research firms. They talked about how to plan and conduct the marketing research to appreciate the clients, which is not an easy thing to do as the marketing research field is quite competitive. Moreover, we also got to visit Intage Marketing Research firm and got to see how they conduct different research to see clearer picture of this process. Moreover, we also talked to True representative to clarify the situation in order to be able to develop a proposal that suits them. Finally, we not only gained new knowledge and experience, but we also got to meet with many new friends from eight universities located all over Thailand.
We would like to say a big thanks to Dr. Aurathai Lertwannawit for provide advices for competitions, and BBA Thammasat for all supports. We also would like to thank Thailand Marketing Research Society (TMRS), True Corporation, Siam University for holding this event and give us a chance to participate. We are very proud to bring back another prize to BBA and make the program to Be the Best Always!
