On 7th October 2013, students of IB 323 International business class had got a chance to visit Dried Flower Royal Project?s factory at Kasetsart University. This was a great opportunity for us to explore interesting department of Royal Project.

Starting this tour with presentation session from president of the project, M.L. Jarupan Thongtam, we had learnt to know history of the project as well as what project is currently doing. Up to this point, we then had clearer picture of project. After that, we moved on to see all the process in their factory; bleaching, dyeing, and assembly. In bleaching, this is the very first step in factory. All dried flower raw material from other factory in southern and northern part of Thailand had to be sent to here. It all will be put in chemical water for changing its color to be white. This process will take time around 5-7days depending on kind of flower. After we had done with the bleaching, all flowers will be sent to second station of dyeing. Colors used in dyeing were various tailoring to the design. In order to make color permanent, flowers need to be immersed in boiled color water.
