A team of BBA Thammasat students consisting of: Sarocha Kessakorn and Kraisri Kuludomphongse (BBA#18),Nicholas Miron (BBA#19), and Wasin Sriauthai  (BBA#20) competed in  the International Case Competition @ Maastricht (ICC@M 2013) in the city of Maastricht, the Netherlands from April 21st to April 27th 2013. This competition invited 16 well-renowned universities from around the world to come and tackle cases that dealt with issues in both the European business and public sectors.

In addition to the various social activities such as rowing and an amazing race through Maastricht that are designed to foster friendships between the participants from different universities, the ICC@M also seeks to test the participants? skills and capabilities in different aspects of case-solving, using both short (3-hour) and long (24-hour) cases.  While the two short cases tested the participants? ability to think on their feet and decision-making skills under extreme time-pressure, the one 24-hour case emphasized detail-orientation and in-depth analytical thinking. In both formats, the teams had to create a 20-minute presentation, which was followed by a 10-minute Q&A session from a judging panel which included company management, industry experts, and university professors.
