After months of practicing, our team had an opportunity to participate in the 22nd ICU Debate Tournament at International Christian University (ICU) in Tokyo, Japan during March 16^th- 18^th, 2013. It is the one and only international tournament held annually in Japan, which has continuously gathered debaters from various region of Asia. The tournament was hosted by ICU tournament committees, with their passion in debating and their hard work, the competition was successfully carried on despite some logistic challenges.

In this year, there were over 50 teams from varying nations, competing in high quality debates throughout those 3 days. In the tournament, there were 6 rounds, 3 rounds for each of the first two days, and the best 16 teams with the highest score would go to the final round of the last day. Although we didn?t make it to the final round, we?ve got great experience worth sharing from this tournament.
