In the year 2013, Deloitte Thailand held its first business case competition. There were 15 candidates selected from many applicants from well-known universities in Thailand to join the competition (and 5 of them were from BBA Thammasat!).
The competition was held for 2 days, February 19 -20 at Metropolitan Hotel. All the candidates were separated into 3 groups. The case was handed in at 10.00 a.m. on the first day, and every group could work until midnight and they could begin their work again from 6.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. on the next day. The assigned case was about bidding to be the host of World Expo 2020. During the competition, every group had a chance to meet the guru, Khun Kriengkrai Kanjanapokin, co-CEO of Index Creative Village, to ask for any questions for 30 minutes. Moreover, every group was assigned a coach and they all had 1-hour talking session with their coach as well. On the presentation day, every group had 20 minutes to present their case and 20 minutes Q&A questions.
