BBA Short Lecture Series#19 How UNIQLO Builds a Brand that Rocks Asia

Everyone has heard of ?Uniqlo?, an innovative Japanese apparel brand that is welcomed all over the world under slogan ?Made for all?, and made a new history of retailing in Thailand last year. This short lecture series#19 ?How Uniqlo Builds a Brand that Rocks Asia? was held on Friday 7th September. The guest speakers were Mr. Takahiro Nishimura, and Mr. Kenji Takagi, chief operation officer, and chief administrative officer.

 

The lecture started out with introducing the company ?Fast Retailing?, the mother company of Uniqlo. The company ranked in the 1st retail apparel business in Japan, and 4th worldwide. We got to know the history of the company and how Uniqlo was created. It was amazing how Uniqlo was established to satisfy customers? needs that, in that time, weren?t recognized. This reminds us all as business students to care of a little details of the customer.
