On September 10th 2012, Bain & Company visited BBA Thammasat University for an on campus recruitment session.  The event was hosted by Bain & Company?s South East Asia Partner, Mr. Sharad Apte, Manager Mr. Derek Keswakaroon, Associate Consultants including one of our alumni Mr. Siwagorn Siriwongpanupong or P? Sin BBA#17 as well as Bain?s recruitment team.

The session began with an introduction to Bain & Company by Mr. Keswakaroon, who pointed out the company?s approach to working with its clients.  He mentioned how Bain is different from other top-tier consulting firms, like McKinsey and BCG.  He further described why consulting is a rewarding career as it offers an incredible learning experience and various opportunities for new graduates.  Mr. Keswakaroon pointed out several characteristics that make a good consultant and how Bain invests in its people through various training program.  He also shared with us a typical career path as a consultant and the various benefits that come with being a part of Bain.
