Over and over, our reputable BBA program has provided us with a valuable opportunity to learn about something applicable to our real learning and working situation through organizing useful workshops for students to attend. Recently, other students and I were allowed to participate in the ?Unlock Your Memory workshop? organized by ?Whiteboard Workshop Center?. The guest speaker aroused our curiosity by first introducing to us some fascinating facts and statistics associated with people with greatly enhanced memorization capacity. One by one, he walked us through some of the ingredients of ?effective memorization? namely visualization, association and concentration. Throughout the session, we were surprised by the extent to which we could memorize complicated lists of things with the techniques introduced earlier. In addition to that, he also guided us through 3 types of learning patterns, visual, auditory and instrumental learning to inform us of what learning strategies suit us the best for self-improvement purposes.
