By Teekatas Sivakua

Art & Cultural Activity is one of the BBA#20 orientation activities arranged by the program for students to learn and acquire regarding historic sites around Rattanakosin Island and communities nearby Thammasat University. On the day, we split up into 13 groups of ten 1st year students and one senior student with 3,000 baht given for all the expenses that day since each group could bring only a single mobile phone with camera built in and a map to the location of 10 places we had to go visit: Wat Pho, Golden Mount, Lohaprasada, Meseum Siam, Siriraj Hospital, Wat Arun, Democracy Monument, City Pillar Shrine, Phra Phuttha Yodfa Bridge and Memorial of 14 October. Each place, we would be given worksheets to fill in the answers. We also had to take pictures with the exact same scene shown in the worksheets.  And the last thing we had to do was to find a hidden flag. There were only 3 flags each which means only 3 groups could have it and every flags came with extra points.

This activity mainly taught us to work as a team, to plan and to spend money and time wisely.  I think BBA wanted to equip the students with these skills because they matter in business world.
