On July 30, 2010 Mr. Simon van der Wal, International Marketing Manager, and Ms. Ina Venhuizen, Senior Exchange Officer, from University of Groningen, the Netherlands, visited Thammasat Business School (TBS) where Asst. Prof. Dr. Orapan Yolrabil (BBA Director) and Asst. Prof. Dr. Somboon Kulvisaechana (Associate Director of TBS International Affairs) hosted the meeting and discussed about a possibility to establish an academic relationship.  Both institutions have shared a similar focus of internationalization and promoted a practice of exchange initiatives at all levels.  The University of Groningen?s academic ranking of world universities is 33 in Europe and 13 in the Netherlands which marks its excellence in teaching and research.
