The "Beauty Contest Songkran Festival Queen" was held on the 10th of April 2010 at Wat Thai of Los Angeles, USA.  There were 18 contestants altogether.  In the contest, all contestants had to walk on stage with a dignified look, introduce themselves, and greet the judges and the audience with the Thai traditional greeting, the "Wai".  The last 5 contestants that had made it through the final round were asked a different question by the judge.  I was very nervous at first. After a while, I felt more confident. I found it very difficult to walk very slowly on the stage.  It was also not easy having to make myself look good and confident in front of lots of people.  With all my effort, I got into the final round and the question I received was "What will I do if my opinion is conflicted with my parents'?".
