?Technological innovation alone does not always win in the market place, it is now widely recognized that the management aspect is at least as important and that nontechnological innovation can also help organizations in the marketplace.? That is the core concept of the 4th IEEE ICMIT that was held on September 21-24, 2008 at Century Park Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. With over 500 submitted papers from around the world, the paper written by two Thammasat students - Supatsinee Leedhirakul and Thirinpa Chongjareonjai ? together with Ajarn Tritos Laosirihongthong and Michael W. McLean (Juran Medalist) from Queensland University of Technology, Australia were able to made it through by getting the approval and recognition by the IEEE committee, the world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology, with their paper entitle: Technology Strategy: Findings from Adoption and Adaptation of Japanese Manufacturing Management (JMM) to ASEAN and Australasian Automotive Manufacturers.
