BBA Trip to Ban Sang-son Dek

By Varunya Borvornpadungkitti, BBA#17

Giving is happiness and I have just known its real meaning after we BBA Thammasat took a trip to Ban Sang-son Dek on Sunday, the 21th of September. For the first time I saw the boys there, I knew that we have very special things to exchange because just seeing how glad and excited they are upon our arrival is already the first nice gift for all of us.

We painted the flower pots with children and I could not help smiling at the cheerful faces of the young boys.  They must be really enjoying themselves and so do we! When we finished, we took all the pots outdoor and admired them.  Since there were more time left, we divided the 32 of us to play with the children in groups. My group's task was to teach children about hygiene. We taught them how to wash their hands and brush their teeth with our songs. It was the first time that I worked with roonpi BBA14.  They are really nice and we have so much fun. Other groups also had interesting jobs, giving children the snacks, telling story books, planting the vegetable seeds into the pots that the boys painted and playing football, but one bad thing was that we, our group, had to look out for the balls because the football station was really close to us!!!
